Pontine Movement Theatre presents The Shaker Way The Shakers are this country's oldest communal society going back more than 200 years.
	An ingenuous group of people, their characteristic furniture and crafts have been widely imitated.
For The Shaker Way, Pontine researched extant writing including letters, journals and testimonials finding captivating drama and serene beauty in these records.
	Combining music with dance and ritual, . . .
